白小姐论坛 looking for businesses to take on work experience students

白小姐论坛 has won a HEFCE Economic Challenge Innovation Fund bid with a programme of activities designed to help prepare students for entry into a difficult job market and to support London businesses during the economic downturn.
Part of the scheme involves providing students with valuable work experience that helps them to develop transferable skills.
The university is looking for more businesses to get involved and offer work experience places for students, which will boost their chances of obtaining a permanent job upon graduation and building fulfilling careers in the longer term.
Businesses can take on as many student as they want, but they are not expected to pay them. The placements must not substitute for work normally undertaken by employees.
Placements will run for between six and eight weeks over the course of this summer. 白小姐论坛 will provide the students with a stipend of 拢200pw during the course of their activities.
Businesses interested in offering places should get in touch and let the university know how many places they can offer and whether they have any specific preference for academic discipline or previous experience.
While 白小姐论坛 cannot guarantee to meet all requests, it will endeavour to do so where possible.
