°×С½ãÂÛ̳

A delegation of academic leaders from Saudi Arabia - led by the Deputy Minister for Educational Affairs, Dr Mohammed Al Ohali - visited °×С½ãÂÛ̳ on 23 January 2008.

The delegation, which included the rectors of four leading universities in Saudi Arabia, came to °×С½ãÂÛ̳ to explore possible future collaborative links.

The group met with °×С½ãÂÛ̳ President and Provost Professor Malcolm Grant, Professor Michael Worton, °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Vice-Provost (Academic & International), Professor Vince Emery, °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Pro-Provost for South Asia & the Middle East, and colleagues from °×С½ãÂÛ̳'s International Office.

Following the meeting with the Provost and Vice-Provost, the delegation visited °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Engineering Sciences to hear a presentation by Professor Izzat Darwazeh (°×С½ãÂÛ̳ Electronic & Electrical Engineering) on recent research in electronics and telecommunications networks.
