°×С½ãÂÛ̳ is ninth in the 2007 rankings, thereby joining the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and Imperial College London in the global top ten. °×С½ãÂÛ̳ is the fastest rising of any of the institutions in the top 20, having moved up from the 25th in 2006.

Professor Michael Worton, °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Vice-Provost (Academic & International), said: "We are particularly pleased to receive recognition from a ranking that reflects the internationalisation of higher education around the world, given the commitment that we have made to define ourselves as a truly international institution, systematically integrating an international dimension into all of our teaching and research activity.
