Research Computing holds 'Summer Expo'

A half-day 'Summer Expo' will be held on Friday 30 June 2006 at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ to showcase the variety of research made possible by the university's Research Computing services.
The relevance of high-end computing within arts and humanities will be demonstrated, alongside sessions on scientific applications, such as imaging brain connectivity. Current key initiatives will be reviewed, and delegates will receive a preview of the next generation systems that will arrive at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ next year.
The event will run 12.30-5pm, opening with lunch and closing with a drinks reception. Attendance is free but ticketed.
