IOE mission

Our mission is to pursue excellence in education and social research and related fields of professional practice. In undertaking this mission, we adhere to the highest standards of academic rigour, are guided by a concern for truth and social justice, and seek to make a positive contribution to the development of individuals, institutions and societies. We want to improve lives through education - enhancing opportunities, experiences and outcomes - and promote social participation to address local and global challenges.
